Before renewing, residents should make sure their information on file is current. Anyone who no longer has a pet or has changed their email address should notify the Borough office so its records can be updated.
According to the Borough’s reminder, residents who no longer have a pet but do not update their records may receive a summons when the license is not renewed. Pet licensing is required, and failure to comply may result in penalties and a mandatory court appearance.
Keeping pet and contact information current helps the Borough maintain accurate records and helps residents avoid unnecessary renewal notices or enforcement action.
Residents are encouraged to mark the January 31 deadline on their calendars and complete their 2027 renewal through the Borough’s online portal.
